The ZUŠ Open Festival, together with elementary art schools and the Association of Elementary Art Schools, is organized by the Magdalena Kožená Foundation, which has been supporting arts education in the Czech Republic for ten years and develops projects that connect education with artistic practice and support talented children and young people, including those growing up in difficult circumstances or whose lives are affected by a health disability. ZUŠ Open shows the important role that elementary art schools play in education. They help nurture future professional artists while at the same time serving as a safe environment for every child’s development, supporting their creativity, mental well-being, and overall personal growth.
